Terry McKenna


Terry McKenna has performed for many years with The Toronto Consort, Ensemble Polaris and Puirt à Baroque. Involved in over thirty recordings, Terry’s first feature recording , Throw the House Out the Window, was released in 2001 by Marquis Classics.

Interested in both new and early music, Terry is heard at festivals across Canada and has performed with many orchestras, including Tafelmusik, Opera Atelier, the Toronto Symphony and the National Arts Centre Orchestra.

Terry and his wife Susan Kennedy are directors of Playmakers!, a youth theatre project that has produced Twelfth Night, The Emperor of the Moon, An Italian Straw Hat and many others.

Terry heads the guitar and lute programme at Wilfred Laurier University.
